Professional learning

I work with teachers, school leaders, and school divisions and districts on Building Thinking Classrooms, instruction, and assessment. Most of that is a series of workshops across a school year, often with days in classrooms co-teaching alongside teachers and with their students. I also speak at conferences, and I co-wrote a book of thinking classroom tasks with Peter Liljedahl.

Workshops and classroom teaching

The work I like best is with one school or division over a year: a first workshop, then follow-up sessions and time in classrooms as teachers try things. It can also be a single day, in person or online.
